Was there a particular scene that impacted you in this doc?

Were there any scenes you felt should have been left out of the film or perhaps should have been expanded?

For all the things that could be said about this doc I have to say that my absolute favorite part was when they edited in the silent take of Joanna talking to the camera after the relationship ended with her boyfriend. In the voice over she said she was in "desperate need of a friend.... and a sound person".

To me, these are the sorts of details that set this doc apart from others. I was also impressed with how she managed to work in a wide variety of issues but never seemed to meander.

I usually post on these boards when I see something I really like at Midwest Indie... and this was absolutely my favorite film so far this year. (For reference - Por Amor was my fav 2006, and Street Thief was my fav 2007)
